White Hygienic Wall Cladding Panels for Kitchens, Bathrooms & Commercial Interiors

White hygienic wall cladding is the most versatile option in our range, used across commercial kitchens, bathroom and shower areas, healthcare settings, schools and food production environments. Available in budget and premium solid PVC options, our white cladding sheets come in satin and gloss finishes, and in four thicknesses - 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm - to suit different applications and wall conditions.

White is the most practical choice for environments where hygiene standards are a priority. Unlike painted surfaces, white PVC cladding will not chip, peel or absorb moisture, and unlike tiles, it has no grout lines where bacteria can accumulate. A smooth, seamless wall surface is considerably easier to clean and maintain to the standards required in food-safe and clinical environments.

Our white range includes three distinct products to suit different budgets and performance requirements. The Budget Sheet is a cost-effective option for lighter-duty spaces. The Brilliant White Satin Sheet is our most popular product — a premium solid PVC sheet available in four thicknesses from 1.5mm to 3mm. The White Gloss Sheet offers the same durability with a brighter, more reflective finish suited to bathrooms and kitchen splashback areas.

White hygienic cladding can be installed using our PVC cladding adhesive and finished with matching white profiles — including internal corners, external corners, division bars and capping strips — to create neat, sealed joints throughout. White silicone sealant can be used around edges, fixtures and penetrations to complete a fully hygienic finish.

Frequently Asked Questions About White Hygienic Wall Cladding

Can white hygienic cladding be used in a bathroom?

Yes — white hygienic PVC wall cladding is one of the most popular alternatives to bathroom tiles. It is fully waterproof, resistant to mould and moisture, and requires no grout, making it easier to clean and maintain. It is suitable for bathroom walls, shower enclosures and wet room areas in both domestic and commercial settings.

What is the difference between satin and gloss white cladding?

Satin white cladding has a softer, low-sheen finish that shows fewer marks and fingerprints — making it the most popular choice for commercial kitchens, food preparation and healthcare settings. Gloss white has a brighter, more reflective surface that suits bathrooms, shower rooms and kitchen splashback areas where a clean, crisp appearance is a priority.

What is the difference between the Budget Sheet and the Brilliant White Satin Sheet?

The Budget Sheet is a more economical option suited to lighter-duty or lower-traffic areas. The Brilliant White Satin is a premium solid PVC sheet with greater rigidity, impact resistance and longevity, making it the better choice for busy commercial environments. Both are white and hygienic but differ in material composition and long-term performance.

Is white hygienic wall cladding better than tiles?

For many commercial and wet room applications, yes. White PVC wall cladding has no grout lines where bacteria and mould can accumulate, installs faster than tiling, costs less in both materials and labour, and is easier to clean and maintain. It is also lighter than ceramic tiles and can be fitted directly over existing surfaces in many cases.

How do I install white PVC wall cladding panels?

Sheets are bonded directly to the existing wall using a PVC cladding adhesive. Joints, corners and edges are finished with matching white PVC trim profiles and sealed with white silicone to create a fully hygienic, watertight finish. Full step-by-step guidance is available in our installation guides and tutorials section.

What thickness of white hygienic cladding sheet should I choose?

This depends on the surface: 1.5mm thick can be used if the surface is smooth and flat (think plasterboard); if you're covering a wall that is flat but with a slight texture (think breeze block/tiled walls), then 2mm thick would be our recommendation. 2.5mm thick sheets should be used for walls that are consistently uneven (think uneven brickwork). 3mm thick sheets can be used for walls that require the covering of very uneven walls or that are being fitted to timber framework.

Are white hygienic cladding sheets fire rated?

Yes, PVC is a self-extinguishing, fire-retardant material and is rated for use on internal walls.

What should I use to cut the sheets & how easy is it?

A jigsaw can be used, as shown in our tutorial video. The sheet needs to be held down firmly while cutting, as too much vibration could cause breakage.

Can I use white hygienic wall cladding in a kitchen?

Yes — white hygienic PVC wall cladding is widely used in commercial and domestic kitchens. It is food-contact approved, easy to wipe clean with standard kitchen cleaning products, and has no grout lines where grease and bacteria can accumulate. Unlike painted walls it will not chip or peel, and unlike tiles it can be installed quickly over existing surfaces. It is suitable for kitchen walls, splashback areas and food preparation environments where hygiene standards need to be maintained.

What can I clean white PVC cladding sheets with?

When cleaning the sheets, we recommend using a soft cloth with a mild soap/detergent
