What thickness sheet fits into the joining strips?
The profiles are designed for the 2.5mm sheets, but all of our sheets (1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3mm) fit.
Will the profiles create a watertight seal?
Yes they will. For extra protection a bead of silicone can be applied to seal any possible gaps.
What is the difference between internal and external corners?
Both are used to create a wartertight seal between 2 sheets, internal corners fit into a corner and external fit around a corner.
What is the difference between internal and external angles?
The physical difference is the type of angle, the External angles are acute, to fit around corners, and the Internal are obtuse and fit into corners.
What lengths are the division bars available in?
These are available in two lengths, 2440mm (8ft) and 3050mm (10ft) lengths
What lengths is the capping available in?
These are available in two lengths, 2440mm (8ft) and 3050mm (10ft) lengths
What is the difference between 1 and 2 part division bars?
1 part division bars come as a single unit while 2 part division bars come with a base plate and a top that clips into the base plate.
What finish do the profiles have?
Similar to the sheets, satin or gloss, these too have a wipe clean surface.
